A Story of Winemakers
Vincelles, the true cradle of the Meunier grape, is an old village located on the Champagne tourist route
in the Vallée de la Marne, to the west of Épernay and
Reims (25 minutes away).
Its name, Vincelles, refers to its winemaking origin: "vini cella" in Latin, meaning "wine cellar."
Henri BLIN, along with most of the producers in Vincelles, descends from a long generation
of winemakers dating back to the 17th century.th century.
In 1947, at the initiative of Henri BLIN, 29 winemakers from Vincelles came together
to establish Champagne H.BLIN (H for Henri).

THE CHAIRMAN
Simon BLIN, the current President (since 2009) of Champagne H.BLIN and grandson
of Henri BLIN, is the 12th generation of vintners from the Vincelles terroir,
continuing a long family tradition (Jacques BLIN, winemaker, born in 1636).
His ongoing commitment to promoting Meunier and his passion for defending and
enhancing this grape variety have yielded the fruits of this long-standing effort.
Especially in Vincelles, where Meunier offers, beyond its usual roundness and fruitiness,
a freshness and tension that make it unique and sought after by the most discerning tasters.
